How to delete your account
Follow these steps in the NimbleDesk app. Deletion is requested in-app; you do not need to email us unless you cannot sign in.
- 1
Open the NimbleDesk web app
Go to app.nimble-desk.com. You can also use the NimbleDesk desktop app or the NimbleDesk mobile app.
- 2
Sign in
Sign in with the email and password for the NimbleDesk account you want to delete.
- 3
Open your profile
After you sign in, tap the account icon in the top-right of the device list to open your profile (Account settings).
- 4
Choose Delete Account
Scroll to the Account deletion section and tap Delete Account.
- 5
Confirm deletion
Read the confirmation, check the acknowledgment box, and confirm. Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.
Opens app.nimble-desk.com. Sign in, then complete the steps on your profile.
Data that is deleted
When you confirm deletion, we permanently delete your NimbleDesk account and the associated data below. This typically completes within minutes. There is no recovery period and we cannot restore a deleted account.
- Your NimbleDesk account and login (email address, display name, and authentication identity)
- Registered devices (device names, platform, OS, app version, and related timestamps)
- Connections you added, pending session invitations, and active remote-session state
- Custom control layouts
- Relay bandwidth usage records tied to your account
- Web billing: we cancel any active Stripe subscription and delete our Stripe customer record for your account
Data that is kept, and retention
The following is either never stored with us, remains only on your devices, or may be retained as described:
- Remote desktop video, audio, keyboard, mouse, and controller input are not stored by NimbleDesk during normal use, so there is nothing of that kind to delete
- Optional per-device connection password hashes stored only on your own devices (browser storage, OS keychain, or equivalent) remain on those devices until you uninstall the app or clear that storage
- Local log files created by the NimbleDesk desktop app stay on your computer
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Apple keeps billing you until you cancel that subscription in Apple ID settings or the App Store app — deleting your NimbleDesk account does not cancel Apple billing
- Payment processors (Stripe, Apple) may retain invoices or transaction records as required by tax, accounting, or their own legal obligations
- We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes
Operational or security logs that might incidentally include an identifier (for example a user ID in an error log) are not kept as an account archive. They are rotated and automatically deleted on a limited schedule, typically within 90 days.
Records we are legally required to keep (or that a payment processor must keep) may be retained for the period required by applicable law, which can be longer than 90 days for billing and tax records.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@nimble-desk.com from the address on your NimbleDesk account and ask us to delete it. Include enough detail for us to identify the account. We will process verified requests.
